I am now two seasons down with a third on the cards and I'm hooked. It's easy to understand why people return to the ski resort bubble year after year. I worked as a chalet host both seasons. The first in a charming yet quiet French town, and I mean there’s only two bars kind of quiet, and the second in M éribel, which is, well, M éribel. Why am I writing this? I feel that first hand ski season experiences are limited online and those that do exist do not prepare you for the highs and lows of a 5 month 'holiday' in the mountains.
